Edinburgh bakery subject to Perpetual Interdict

Mr Sebastian Sosenko, who owns and operates The Pine Tree Bakery, based in Edinburgh, has been made the subject of a Perpetual Interdict (the Scottish legal equivalent of a permanent restraining injunction) issued by the Sherriff’s Court to stop him using bread baskets and other equipment belonging to Bakers Basco and its members without their permission.

Fine for bread basket misuse

Two Essex-based bakeries and their directors have had to pay £10,000 in court costs and damages, as well as agreeing to accept a Court Order permanently preventing them from any future misuse of bread baskets and other equipment belonging to Bakers Basco and its members.

Bakery equipment company Bakers Basco has used evidence gathered through GPS tracking to assist with a claim against a Birmingham-based company, Capital Waste Management, which was in possession of Basco equipment without authorisation.
